This book is packed full of so much raw emotion, heartfelt emotion that I don't think anyone could read this book and not be affected. Every single word the author put into this was was amazing!!!
Right from the start, I was hooked but what surprised me the most was how the story turned by the end. Point A to Point B seemed so different but came to get beautifully. The author does such an amazing on on getting the reader to really know her characters. These characters sort of become part of your, your soul and you get really invested in these fictional characters. But let me say, it was amazing!!!
I don't think I have ever wanted to punch a character then give him a big hug as much as I have with Logan Preston. But as he told his story, it all clicked in to place. Why he did what he did and it was great to see him come out in the end a better man. Then to see him go through everything with Aubrey...heartbreaking but inspiring. We all make mistakes in life but over coming those mistakes is what really matters.
I loved this book!!! It was amazing!!! Everything from the stroyline, to the characters, to the writing itself...all phenomenal! It takes a lot for me to cry while reading a book, this one got me a little misty eyed. This is a must read book!!!

My favorite read of 2017. Hands down. This is a book that consumes you. I read it. I devoured it. I read until I was tired of holding my neck up. So I laid down. I read until my eyes went blurry. I didn't stop to sleep. I read until my nose started running, until my throat became scratchy, until my tears dried up leaving trails down my cheeks. I read until I read the last word. Only then did I stop. Only then did was a able to take a deep breath. Only then did I realize that I had been consumed with a story about a boy and a girl. Both with pasts that aren't pretty. Both who are so completely different yet perfect. About a boy who has stolen my heart and a raven haired girl who shares my soul. Jay McLean writes a damn good story. A story so good that it takes over everything you know. You find yourself not being able to do your work, not being able to eat until you figure out what happens, what secrets are being held, and if the truth can set you free, if it can clear a way for a future. The smiles, the laughter, the tears, the heartache. Every single one of them was worth it for such a story that will stay with me forever. It was worth the wait. It's worth reading again and again until I have every word memorized, until I can quote it in my sleep. This hangover is incurable because this story has grabbed onto everything that I am and it won't let go. Logan has become a part of me.
