BLURB:

Hollywood hath no fury like a woman scorned. In this fun, flirty second-chance romance from New York Times bestselling author Sawyer Bennett, an aspiring starlet reconnects with her first love. “Sawyer Bennett never fails to deliver heroes I fall hard for and heroines I adore.”—Violet Duke

Eden Goodnight went to Los Angeles to make it big, not to be publicly humiliated by her cheating fiancé at a red-carpet premiere. But when Eden returns to her hometown to put the scandal behind her, she can barely find a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. Turns out the locals are worse than the paparazzi, and they all think she’s turned into a spoiled brat. But in a strange twist of fate, the one person who seems to understand what Eden’s going through is Cooper Mayfield . . . the boy she left behind. Small-town charm is no match for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. At least that’s what Coop’s been telling himself all these years. As Eden’s old flame—and the landscaper for her family’s historic home—Coop feels some responsibility for getting her out of her funk. But as soon as he sees that million-dollar smile, he’s a goner. Soon they’re making out like teenagers again. But when a life-changing role falls into Eden’s lap, Coop just hopes she doesn’t give up on a love that’s meant to be.

This book is the perfect mix of sexy and sweet! It's a second chance romance that will leave you swooning.

I am a big fan of this author. I will read anything she writes. She creates such wonderful character with fun and interesting story lines. Like I said, this is a second chance romance with the main characters, Coop and Eden, having dated back in high school. Certain events lead them to going their separate ways but are reunited when Eden is left jilted and flees to her hometown and is reunited with Coop. But her welcome home isn't all that she expected it to be.

The story line was a lot of fun to read. It was humorous and is Sawyer Bennett fashion, contained some pretty steamy scenes. I did find some parts to be a little predictable, that's why it wasn't a 5 star read, but still enjoyable. There was some drama and surprising scenes that did make up for that.

Overall, I thought the writing was fantastic! It had a good story line with two characters who had some heart and soul to them. This is the prefect afternoon read! I highly recommend this book!

Give me a southern second chance romance any day and I"ll be a happy girl. Couple that with a Hollywood A lister going back to her roots in small town America and I am instantly sold. This wasn't the first go 'round for Eden and Cooper but it may end up being their last. If sparks could fly once I'll bet they could set off like the Fourth of July if given a second chance.
Jilted isn't even the word I would use to describe how Eden Goodnight must feel. Thinking she's on top of the world: career of her dreams, enough security to live comfortably and a man who loves her....so she thinks. One leak to the press about her fiancé's extracurricular activities has Eden fleeing to the only place that offers any comfort. HOME.
Cooper Mayfield has loved and lost. He isn't interested in getting burned again. Until a certain flame comes waltzing back into town. She's come for comfort and the only thing he's feeling is jilted out of a happily ever after. It's not until they both learn that they are tied together co-owning Goodnight house, that reality smacks them both in the face and dealing with their past isn't something they can run from.
Well I'm always a fan of Sawyer's work. She seems to bring so ugh depth into her writing sucking me in from the start. This book was completely my thing!! I love second chance romance. Reading a couple figure their crap out is so satisfying to me. Cooper and Eden were just sweet enough to make their dirty parts delicious. The balance in this book was perfect and completely enjoyable.

Hollywoods A lister Eden GoodNight has been through the worst...she just finds out her fiancé is cheating on her and she had no clue! She decides to take a break from the limelight and hers home only to find her grandmother left her estate to her and her ex boyfriend Cooper Mayfield! They haven't kept in touch and even though it's been 14 years they pick up like nothing. But can they over come the same problems they had when they ended the 1st time??? Cooper has major commitment issues and after their  breakup he never let anyone in...can Eden open herself up to COOPER after everything she has been through???

This story is one that is packed full of sexy, hot and steamy fun with 2nd chance romance! Who doesn't want to root for the guy from the past that always loved you from the start....it's so fun to see the layers and how they have to dig deep and trust love....is love enough??? Can it really be that easy?????
